Track Day Prep.   7 comments

So since a tyre delammed at the last track day in Taupo, my car has been looking pretty run down

First up was fixing the rear bumper

I’ve got a new one arriving soon, so instead of going through all the effort of making it mint and painting, I just fiberglassed it all up and vinyled the cracks. It came out ok enough for the track day I think.

Adam did a sick job of fixing the rear gaurd that was missing a big chunk.

New BN skirts.

I wet sanded all day, and Adam sprayed everything up after work today.

Gaurd and skirts finished,

Eastbears painted too 🙂

Nigels knuckles are all in, heres the tie rod setup,

also moved the brake brackets, and bashed those lips up to avoid rubbing.

New angle !

And some  tyres.

Still waiting on some parts so we can get my car rolling again, Adam’s car is good to go. Can’t wait.
